Divinity Nut Icing

Grandma New's recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 C	brown sugar
3/4 C	sugar
2/3 C	water
	pinch of salt
2	egg whites, beaten stiff
2	chopped marshmallows
2 t	vanilla
1 C	chopped nuts

Preparation

• Boil sugars, water and salt until it threads or forms medium balls in cold water.
• Pour syrup over eggs beaten stiff and marshmallows. 
• Add vanilla and nuts. 
• Beat until smooth.
