Applesauce Cake
Grandma New's recipe
Ingredients
| 1 C | Shortening |
| 2 C | sugar |
| 2 C | unsweetened apple sauce |
| 1 t | nutmeg |
| 1 t | cinnamon |
| 1 t | cloves |
| 1 | square chocolate melted |
| 3 t | soda |
| 3 1/2 C | flour |
| 1 C | raisins |
| 1 t | salt |
| 1 C | nuts |
Preparation
- Cream sugar and shortening.
- Add applesauce.
- Sift dry ingredients and add.
- Add remaining ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes
