Mrs. Stovers Fudge

Ingredients

4 C sugar
1 tall can evaporated milk or 1 1/2 C light cream
1/4 lb oleo
14 oz chocolate chips (2 7-oz packages)
8 oz marshmallow cream (1 jar)
1 1/2 t vanilla
1 C nut meats (optional)

Preparation

  1. Cook sugar, milk, and oleo until soft ball is formed and then add remaining ingredients.
  2. Stir well, pour into well greased dishes.
  3. Cut into squares.
  4. Makes about 4 lbs.
