Carrot Cookies
Ingredients

| 1 C | shortening |
| 2 C | flour |
| 1 t | vanilla |
| 1 C | carrots (cooked and mashed) |
| 1/2 t | salt |
| 1 | egg |
| 1/2 C | nuts |
| 1 t | baking powder |
Preparation
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 12 min.

Ingredients
| 1 | orange |
| 2 C | butter |
| 1 t | powdered sugar |
Preparation
- Grated rind of 1 orange
- 3 T orange juice
- Butter and powdered sugar to spread.
