Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
| 1 C | sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1/2 C | milk |
| 1 C | raisins and nuts |
| 1/2 C | shortening (melted) |
| 1 t | soda (even teaspoon) |
| 2 C | flour |
| 3 | chocolate squares |
| 1 t | vanilla |
Preparation
- Mix shortening and sugar.
- Add beaten yolks and melted chocolate.
- Add soda to milk; add milk mixture and 1/2 the flour to the sugar and eggs.
- Mix well.
- Add raisins with remainder of flour.
- Add beaten whites and vanilla and beat well.
- Drop from the spoon onto buttered baking sheets.
- May be frosted with fudge frosting (I didn't frost them)
