Gum Drop Cookie

Ingredients

1 C	shortening
1 C	brown sugar
1 C	white sugar
2	eggs
1 C	coconut or nuts
1 C	gum drops (cut up)
1 t	vanilla
2 C	flour
1/2 t	salt
1 t	soda
1 t	baking powder
2 C	oatmeal

Preparation

• Sift dry ingredients together. 
• Mix shortening and sugar then vanilla. 
• Then mix in dry ingredients ingredients except coconut and gum drops, oatmeal and nuts. 
• Add the rest and drop by spoonfuls and bake at 350 degrees for 10 min
