Rum Balls

Ingredients

1 C butter, softened
1/3 C powdered sugar (sifted)
1 egg yolk
1 T brandy
1 t vanilla
2 C flour

Preparation

  1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in yolk, brandy and vanilla.
  3. Gradually blend in flour.
  4. Wrap in wax paper.
  5. Chill 1 hour.
  6. Shape in ball and put on ungreased sheet at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown on bottom.
  7. Cool and then roll in powdered sugar.
  8. Makes 4 dozen.
