Country Vanilla Ice Cream

No cooking!  Just eggs to beat and milk to measure.  Ice cream to bring back memories of Sunday afternoons long ago.

 

Ingredients

4 eggs
2 1/4 C Sugar
5 C milk
4 C Heavy Cream
4 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

  1. Beat eggs.
  2. Add sugar gradually
  3. Continue to beat until mixture is very stiff.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour into gallon freezer and freeze as directed.
