Italian Sausage & Peppers

Add these ingredients if you want to spice up the recipe a bit.

Preparation

Put sausage in a roasting pan.  Poke each link with a fork and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 to 45 minutes

Clean and slice peppers and onions. 

Cook onions with butter until start to get tender and then add in the garlic and let cook a minute or two and then add all the other ingredients and cook on medium to low for a couple hours until done.

Andy's instructions say to slice sausage and add to peppers and onions.  Stir in the tomatoes and bake covered, 45 minutes in 350 degree oven, stirring occasionally. I like the sausage whole.

This tastes better if made earlier and allowed to sit awhile.  Serve over toasted bread or buns.
