Hazel's Lemon Pie

Ingredients

3 egg yolks
1 1/2 C sugar
1/3 C cornstarch
2 C water
1/3 C lemon juice
sprinkle salt
lemon & rind
3 T butter

Preparation

  1. Mix first four ingredients and cook till thick.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
  3. Pour into pie shell.
  4. Top with meringue and cook.
