Meringue #1

Ingredients

2 egg whites - Room Temperature
1/2 t vanilla
1/4 t cream of tarter
6 T super-fine sugar

Preparation

  1. Beat egg whites with the vanilla and gradually add cream of tarter until soft peaks form.
  2. Gradually add sugar, beating to stiff peaks.
  3. Spread over filling, sealing to pastry.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 to 15 minutes.
