Mother's Granola
Ingredients
4 C

oats

3/4 C
|
pecans (chopped)
|
1 C
|
wheat germ
|
1 C
|
coconut
|
1/2 C
|
brown sugar (packed)
|
1/4 C
|
sesame seed
|
1/2 C
|
oil
|
1/2 C
|
honey
|
1 t
|
vanilla
|
1 C
|
raisins
|
Preparation
-
Place
oats in baking pan.

Bake
at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Add
remaining ingredients except raisins.

Mix
rest of ingredients in large bowl and then mix oats with it before
putting back in baking pan.

Bake
20 to 30 minutes longer or until browned, stirring every 10
minutes. (do not overcook).

Add
raisins and mix well.

Turn
into cold shallow dish to cool.

Store
in airtight containers.

Yields:
eight 1-cup servings.
