Custard
Ingredients

eggs

1/2 C

sugar
|
1 qt.

milk scalded
|
1/2 t
|
salt
|
1 t
|
vanilla
|
sprinkle
|
nutmeg
|
Preparation
-
Beat
eggs slightly then add sugar, salt and nutmeg.

Then
add milk and put in custard cups and put in pan of water.

Cook
until solid.

When
done, pierce with a knife and if it comes out clean it is done.

Let
set until cool.

Cook
at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.

It
is important not to overcook because it will turn watery.
