Sweet Gravy

Ingredients

1 C	sugar
1/2 C	flour
2 C	water
1 t	vanilla
pinch	nutmeg (to taste)
1 1/2 t	butter

Preparation

1. Mix flour, sugar and salt in pan.
2. Make a paste with part of the water.
3. Blend until smooth then add rest of water and cook until thickened.
4. If too thick, thin with a little water. 
5. Remove from stove.
6. Serve warm over One Egg Cake.
