Easy Pickled Beets

Ingredients

1 can whole beets (#2 can)
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C vinegar
1/3 t salt (optional)

Preparation

  1. Separate beet liquid from beats and add water to equal 1 cup.
  2. Bring liquid to a boil.
  3. Add whole or half beets.
  4. Simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Chill before serving.
  6. mmmm.
