Seven-up Jell-O Salad

Ingredients

Jell-O Ingredients:

2 pkgs. lemon Jell-O
2 C hot water
2 C 7-up
2  bananas (large)
1 C pineapple (crushed)
1 C marshmallows

Topping Ingredients:

1 C pineapple juice
2 T flour
1/2 C sugar
1 egg  (slightly beaten)
1 T butter
1 C Dream Whip

Preparation

Jell-O Preparation:

  1. Mix Jell-O, 
  2. Add fruit, marshmallows and 7-up.  
  3. Let set.

Topping Preparation:

  1. Cook until thickened.  
  2. Add 1 T butter.  
  3. Let cool.  
  4. Fold in 1 C Dream Whip.  

Dish Preparation

  1. Spread topping on set Jell-O salad. 
  2. Makes a large salad and keeps well.
