Grandma New's version of the HOT sauce.
1 gallon | ketchup |
2 T | black pepper |
2 t | red pepper |
2 C | sugar |
1 t | onion powder or onion salt |
1 t | garlic powder or garlic salt |
2 T | salt |
Simmer until the right consistency (3 - 4 hours). Can be stored in refrigerator for a very long time. I pour sauce back into the original ketchup bottles.
