Sumptuous Shrimp Dip

Ingredients

4 1/2 oz shrimp (small - 1 can)
8 oz cream cheese (1 package - room temperature)
1/2 C mayonnaise
3 T chili sauce
2 t lemon juice
1/4 t Worcestershire sauce
1/4 C onion (grated)

Preparation

  1. Mash shrimp in a bowl.
  2. Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until fluffy and smooth.
  3. Add chili sauce and mayonnaise gradually.
  4. Beat in lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and onion.
  5. Add shrimp and beat until all ingredients are well mixed.
  6. Serve with chips or vegetables.
  7. A sprig of parsley adds a special touch at serving time.
  8. This can be made a day ahead and stored in a covered container in the refrigerator.
