Pizza Dough
Ingredients

package (0.25 ounce) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
- 3 cups flour
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- Cornmeal for sprinkling
- Olive oil for coating
- 1 jar pizza sauce
- mozzarella
- pepperoni
- sausage
- mushrooms
- olives
- green pepper
- artichoke
Preparation
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm
water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
- Stir the olive oil, flour, salt and white
sugar and yeast mixture; stir well to combine. Beat well until a
stiff dough has formed. Cover and rise until doubled in volume, about 30
minutes. Meanwhile preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Turn dough out onto a well floured surface.
Form dough into a round ball and roll out into a pizza crust shape.
- Sprinkle the pizza stone with corn meal. Then put the pie crust on the stone and brush
olive oil on the top of the pizza crust and sprinkle with salt & pepper.
- Spread on the 1 jar of pizza sauce.
Add sausage, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms. Then add cheese. Finally
add, green pepper, artichoke, other stuff.
- Bake in preheated oven until golden brown,
about 20 minutes. Cook on the bottom rack of the oven with convection=OFF.
Dutch Oven
To back in a Dutch Oven... Sprinkle cornmeal in
the bottom of the oven. Then put the dough in the bottom and followed by
all of the above ingredients. It takes longer to cook, compared to
an oven.
