Poppy Seed Loaf

Glaze:

Preparation

In a mixing bowl combine bread ingredients and beat with mixer for 2 minutes. Grease 2 9x5x3 or 3 8x4x2 pans. Bake at 350 for one hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Let loaves cool slightly in pans.

In a small saucepan, combine glaze ingredients. Heat just until sugar is dissolved. Poke holes in loaves and pour glaze over warm bread.  Let bread cool completely then remove from pans. This bread freezes well.
