pecan halves

Preparation

1. Nest 3 medium sized pecan halves on oiled surface.
2. With an ordinary teaspoon cover each nest of pecan halves with hot caramel.
3. Let stand in a cool place until caramel is firm.
4. Beetles can then be dipped in chocolate.
